It's a pretty weak magnet but that kind of comes with the territory because of how small it is. I needed something really small and this is that.

Pretty strong magnet and small. So there is no misunderstanding, this is just a piece of copper wire, not any other type of flexible shaft. It does bent easy and holds it's shape.

I dropped a small bolt in my engine and had trouble finding a small flexible magnet to get it out. This worked but its just a cheap tiny magnet on the end of a bendy stick. Not sure why it should cost so much
