Mission: The United Methodist Children's Home (UMCH) has helped transform the lives of thousands of hurting children since 1890. In response to God's Word, we embrace and nurture vulnerable children and families by providing homes, healing, and hope. Our ministry offers services across Alabama and Northwest Florida through group homes, foster care and adoption programs, family preservation services, transitional living programs, scholarship homes, school readiness programs, and homes for mothers and their children. UMCH is accredited by the Council on Accreditation.

UMCH provides services to vulnerable children who cannot live with their biological parents due to possible neglect, abuse or abandonment. With children and youth as our first priority, we also help broken families address harmful behavior, giving them a second chance at becoming whole again.

United Methodist Children's Home is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1961, and donations are tax-deductible.
