Mission: The Triangle Gay Men’s Chorus offers our audiences entertaining and thought provoking performances that use the power of music to communicate our common human experience and important truths about the value of all people.
Target demographics: All ages, genders, orientations and races.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 25-30 active singers, untold numbers of potential audience members.
Geographic areas served: Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area of North Carolina
Programs: We are planning to present “Sing for the Cure”, the world-renowned song cycle honoring breast cancer victims, survivors and their loved ones, with the Common Woman Chorus in June 2011.A portion of our proceeds will benefit the Komen for the Cure Foundation of the Triangle (North Carolina)We are seeking indiviual and corporate donations to underwrite this project, to cover venue rental fees and production costs.
