Pour 8 floz freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag. Cover and steep for 10-15 min. Squeeze tea bag to ensure maximum goodness. Enjoy 1-3 cups per day.
Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if: you have severe acute inflammation of the gallbladder, painful obstruction of the bowel, or obstructed bile ducts; or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Discomfort due to gastric hyperacidity may occur after taking bitter herbs. Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the daisy (Asteraceae) family.

The flavor is rich and comforting. I have been having a cup every couple of days (I switch between this one and the ginger tea or the raspberry leaf) and I do feel that it helps my digestion. I make my tea with lemon juice and drink it that way but with the rich flavor milk would probably be good too.

I had to give up coffee/caffeine, and this is the BEST alternative to coffee. I add some honey, a few drops of vanilla extract, and a tablespoon of heavy cream. I don't miss coffee at all now--and I'm supporting my liver function in the process.
