Mission: We believe with the right supports and high expectations, students who learn differently can thrive in school. But today in Oregon, nearly two-thirds of these promising students don't graduate with their class. From a very early age, children with learning disabilities disengage from school due to shame, persistent failure, and classrooms unequipped to meet their learning needs. The Shadow Project teams with schools and teachers to empower students to set and meet their own ambitious goals, jump up to 2 years in reading proficiency, and build confidence and social-emotional skills.
Results: To date, we've been a partner in success for over 12,500 K-8 students who learn differently.
