Mission: The Pittsburgh Project is a Christian nonprofit community organization with a thirty-six-year history of service to the Pittsburgh area through our mission of sharing hope, empowering youth, and building community.

Our staff operates a progressive series of youth after-school and summer programs, partners with volunteer groups annually to do community service, and operates local recreation spaces.

All of this is in pursuit of our vision: That Pittsburgh will be called a City of Truth, where once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets each with cane in hand because of age, and where the city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there (adapted from Zechariah 8:4-5).

The Pittsburgh Project is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1989, and donations are tax-deductible.
