Mission: We at The Kwek Society are focused on supplying Indigenous students and community members the period products they need to maintain their dignity and celebrate their strength and their moon times. We collaborate with schools and Indigenous programs across North America, in rural areas, suburbs and cities, to eliminate period poverty among Indigenous people. We educate about moon time as a time for celebration and we work to support the dignity and strength of all we serve.

Results: We expect to hit the one-million-period-supplies distributed mark by mid-2022!

Target demographics: Indigenous students and communities

Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2021 we furnished schools and nonprofits serving Indigenous students and communities 409,095 period supplies, 5,085 moon time bags and puberty education books in 89 shipments. Help us do more!

Geographic areas served: United States and Canada

Programs: Shipments of period supplies (tampons, pads, liners, underwear) moon time bags (sewn bags filled with period supplies) and puberty education materials to ensure students and community members maintain their dignity and good health and stay in school and/or are able to go to work when they have their periods
