Worst purchase and customer service I have encountered. Filter does not last 6 months according to the Manufacturer. Had to order 2 emergency filters within 2 months and a 3rd in another month. No response from the manufacturer on this issues. Will not be ordering again.

I've been using this exact replacement filter for the past 15 years, changing it every six months as recommend. After replacing it this time it immediately clogged and failed. Replaced it with another new filter, same thing. Replaced the old filter which works just fine, just runs slower after six months which is to be expected. Called GE service and was told it was a defective filter.

I really wish these lasted longer or weren't so expensive. I have tried buying the 3rd party or non branded versions and I can tell the difference. I wish I didn't so I didn't have to keep buying these.

This is the same amp; correct filter for our fridge, and ever since we changed it the stream of water is extremely slow and weak. There are no kinks in the water line and no cause for it. It's sad to spend $50 and it make it to where you are standing there for 10 minutes filling up a cup.

Works as usual. I buy only genuine parts and this is no exception. You want water? Get a filter that filters out all that nasty stuffs from local water source. It's a bit pricey, though.
