This is definitely a heavy duty battery charger it gets the job done I'm very happy with it I've been charging a 12 volt or 12.8 volt battery with it works wonderful I have two of them I have a 20 amp and then a 5 amp when the battery goes completely dead I use the 5 amp to restart the battery and then I put the 20 amp after it builds up some charge
