Mission: The purpose of the Teaching Fellows Institute is to recognize and honor the Charlotte area’s outstanding teachers and to provide opportunities that further develop their leadership and professional expertise in order to promote the engaged retention of these effective educators.
Results: Over 90% of TFI Fellows have remained in education and earned many local, state and national awards!
Target demographics: retain outstanding educators in education
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 400 Alumni Teachers who taught over 8000 students
Geographic areas served: K-12 Education
Programs: opportunities to learn, reflect and collaborate with fellow teachers in an enriching and rewarding environment.
