Perfect "refill" for my bigger Taylor test kit. I needed refills for Chloride, alkalinity, and pH and it was cheaper buying this kit than the individual bottles. Each bottle had at least a year and a half before expiration.

This kit checks a greater variety of factors, which is good. This kit requires more than one chemical for each test, which requires that you pay attention and practice care in conducting the tests. The multiple steps require more patience than simpler tests, so you may want to do what I did and have a quick test available for maintenance and use this one for when something doesn't seem right. Overall, a good way to get more professional and extensive results.

Kit came with all the needed solutions to measure all the critical parameters as well as pool chem booklet to teach you about each measurement necessary to maintain pool.

If you own a pool, you should own this. Using the tests with ttge trouble free pool website should keep your pool clean and clear with minimal effort.

It is so much easier to test at home. I still my take my water to the pool store 1 time a month when I pick up chemicals. Since I'm going to the pool store anyway, I figure I'll save mine. However, if they say something is extremely off. I retest when I get home. Pool stores are there to make money. So far, twice it has saved money. They said I needed something in great quantity when I didn't. I wish I had bought this years ago.

Well worth the cost. This is so much better than the little strip tests of mine that dried up after one summer. This brings me back to high school doing chemistry for a science project on water quality in my neighborhood river . The instructions are easy to follow amp; everything is packaged well.

Taylor is one of the best brands in this category. This kit lets you test 9 different levels of your pool or spa so you can get the water right. Easy to use and more accurate than test strips. If you have a pool or spa, you should use this.
