I ordered a setter ball, which is supposed to be substantially heavier that a regular volleyball. This is the lightest volleyball I have ever held!! Needless to say, this is going back.

I purchased this ball solely for hitting, setting and serving. I would not use this ball to practice passing unless you have iron arms. Great for the price.

Its a very light and soft volleyball.I brought this from the last trip to US and the whole team liked playing with it.No complaints so far.I hope it lasts a long time.

This is an incredibly good volleyball for the price. It has the perfect amount of softness it passes great, it grips well for setting and it's perfect for hits. I amply recommend it.

great product for the price. As a volleyball coach, I wanted a sturdy, durable but soft ball to teach my son the game. This is a great beginner ball that feels like leather but isn't as fragile

We have an extremely energetic bichon who was always begging to be played with no matter how many walks he got. One day a children's soccer team launced the ball under his nose and he took off rolling the thing around.I went out and bought a ball that night but it was polyurethane. He and the poodle ate all the plastic off so that was notgood. Someone told us to try leather. This ball was a really good price compared to the stores. It has NOT lost any air as a few reviewers reported despite being pushed into rose bushes, bitten and mauled. Kids come in and beat it around too and it is surviving well.I just need something to stop the hysterical barking that goes with the play now. Great buy for the price. Neither dog has been able to peel the composite coating either.

The ball is perfect for me and my team. It passes very well, and is perfect for any style outdoor play, the leather is soft as well. Very pleased with my purchase and now I want more colors!

Ordered for Christmas as a gift. Nice balance of quality and price for heavy duty use. Note- the ball was under inflated and had to be pumped up before use.

We only had the Volleyball for a month and couldn't figure out why it alway felt flat...finally figured out that one of the seems on the volleyball had a crack. Now the volleyball wont keep any air in it all all. The leather on the volleyball was great quality, just how they put the volleyball together wasnt very good.

It's hard to shop for a volleyball online, because all of them look the same. So, I did a little research first and talked to friends who play and checked what they used. I like the lighter, less-padded volleyballs that have a "pop" when you hit them. This is exactly that.It took a couple of uses before it softened up some, but significantly less time that most. I've had it for several years now and it's still my favorite game ball.

It's a quality ball, however the colors are decieving. Its not grape purple as shown. It's more of a blue. My daughter was happy, so it's all good.

The original volley ball looked great but the air valve leaked air. It would just hold pressure for maybe 15 minutes and then it was too soft. When I called to complain, they said they would send me a replacement. But then they were out of stock and had to back order with expectations to fullTachikara SV18S Institution and Recreational Play Cordley? Composite Leather Volleyball (White)fill by 1/18/08. I called today, 1/18/08 and they said my replacement ball shipped today.
