Absolutely "stands" up to it's reputation. Best purchase I have made in awhile. I urge you to pay attention to "weight ratings" on personal assist products. I weigh 200 lbs and have bend several "aluminum canes that were rated for more. Wasted money until I found this product. Only issue it a curious one. There is a tear starting in the grip cover (but oddly enough it is at a location that does not come into contact with my arm or hand). This location does not "rub" on my body either. I kind of blew it off until I saw another person using the exact same cane and they too had a similar tear. It would be almost impossible to replace due to assembly (it is either molded and adhered with adhesive or just adhered with adhesive). I don't see how I can replace it myself. I will contact customer support as it is now out of warranty, but I am curious about replacement . Either way I am 100 satisfied and do highly recommend to others.

I've had this cane a couple of weeks and love it so far. It is much more stable than other canes I have used and allows me to be on my feet longer. However, I can't recommend the self standing tip that comes on it. The cane is so long that the self standinp tip doesn't work well and tends to fall, at least mine did. I ordered the smaller tip for mine and the cane feels good now. The self standing it is very heavy too due to its size, so I recommend the smaller tip. If mine had come with the smaller tip it would be 5 stars for sure. I recommend.

This product was for my daughter who has MS. She wanted a cane with arm support because a regular cane was painful for her wrist. This one is supportive and also helps her getting from a sitting position to standing.

Very sturdy cane - like the forearm loop - adds a lot more stability. Good idea for a larger or heavier person. Only downside is that it doesn't easily stand on its own.

This is a very well designed, well-made and sturdy cane that gives the user a good sense of stability and support. Just be careful to not lose it, because this is one you would hate to lose. I'd suggest attaching a label with your contact info if you ever walk off without it. This is definitely a recommendation to buy it because it does provide much relief and ease joint pain and pressure (with the extra secure grip) so you can definitely (in a moment of increased confidence) forget you need it... and abandon it in the cookie aisle, for example.

The only difference was the foot However, as much as I love this cane style, and have received many compliments and requests for the name, I want to settle something: it's not universal. I use it better and safer on my right side than my left. I have to purchase a new one since after 1.5 years of using mine in heavy duty situations, I need a new one and there's nothing like it. However, there needs to be one that is its mirror for the left side. The only way to maintain the integrity of it is to manufacture the same fit for the left side. When I lose my grip on the right, I can't drop the cane. My arm either falls back into the loop onto the front against the hook. On the left side, no such surety exists and I have fallen. My left side is not my dominant side, and as much as when I have flare ups and injuries using the cane on the left has only led to more risk of and actual falls. Please, make the cane its left sided mirror. I need two sometimes to get around for longer walks, and I prefer it to my walkers most days, as I can grab and go, and it fits anywhere. Is there a way to weigh down the lower part of the cane within the foot or just above within the pole? How are the cushions replaced? I'll check back in within December or January when I can afford my replacement.
