My husband doesn't need another thing to hang on his belt, but he does need a safer way to carry the impact when climbing up and down ladders. This is sturdy enough and fits the Makita impact well. Having the belt loop instead of just a clip, which the Makita impact already has, is a much more secure attachment and is guaranteed not to slip. The side release buckle keeps the driver from wobbling within the holder and is changeable to either right or left. A word of caution, though (and this is not a flaw in the design), make sure you are hanging on to the driver when you release the buckle or your tool may crash to the floor.

Fantastic holster as long as you use a belt. Geared to help provide quick access to DIYers construction workers. Fits all of my drills and impact drivers, and feels very durable while protecting my leg from the wear and tear of brushing down the side. Oh, and it looks good too!

This holster is great for a Dewalt impact wrench, however it fits the impact wrench a little snug. Since the wrench isn't long, it needs to be secured by the holster, which can be a little inconvenient as you may be working on something and need to quickly grab and use your impact wrench. When the impact wrench isnt properly secured, it can fall off the holster, so for normal storage this is good, but i wish it could be secured within the holster without the need to strap it down.

Paired with my DeWalt impact drill, I now look like someone who knows what they are doing. It's made hanging up shelves much easier and I'm no longer fumbling for things or placing my drill on random surfaces.

This holster is made of great and durable materials. My husband used it regularly and it has held up nicely. It would be a good gift for dads, grandpas, etc.

I am by no means a professional carpenter nor have I worked construction since many many years ago. But the recent move has had me working with tools on an almost daily basis - right after work. I actually find the time to do it, no matter how tired because there is a certain serenity to it - just like my father, and my grandfather before him - something about building or making something better (most of the time if everything goes as intended). Well, this holster makes things just so so much easier. Everything about this holster is good. The price is great for the quality. The planning that goes into putting the right tools for the job once, and not going back and forth picking out different pieces. The fact that I have the perfect Dewalt Atom tools that are compact enough that I do not even feel them nor do they fall out. I am extremely happy with this accessory and for anyone working with tools this is a must.

DEWALT Impact Drill Holster is a great addition to add to my toolbelt. The holster looks really cool, is well-made, and works well. It is designed to work with an impact drill but also works well with my regular drill driver. I actually feel that it holds the drill driver better. It seems that the shorter impact driver has a chance to fall out if you are moving around and don't have it buckled in. Perhaps not, as I have not had a problem with it yet. It has small holders that I assume are for holding driver bits. I will not be using the holders. With the belt on, I can't easily see the bits. In addition, the bits can easily fall out of the holders. I have had it happen. Too easy to lose bits using those holders. I will use the pouch that I have on my toolbelt for that. Overall, I love using this pouch to hold my drill driver or impact driver. It makes it quick and easy to have the tool ready to use.

Light and functional. Pockets for the most part are deep enough and wide enough to get your hand in and it doesnt flop over and dump your tools out when you set it down at lunch like many other nylon bags.

The drills have a clip on the back to hang from your belt/pants, but the bag does not have a clip. It feels secure, but takes a long time to get the drill secured in there. I don't really see a point in using it while working when the drill has a clip on the back. The strap on the bag has a pivot, so can be used ambidextrously, which is nice.

You know how it is when you are doing a project and you keep needing the drill but you keep setting it down so you can do other things with your hands? Of course, you do. Well, this holster gives you a secure and convenient place to put the drill down without putting it out of reach. It fits securely onto your belt and stays where you put it. It is convenient and time saving. 5 stars.

I don't have and impact but I have several drills. It fits them very well and will come in very handy on ladders. There's one older larger drill and a newer impact sized drill. I wish I had gotten one years ago.
