I used these for my Pennywise costume.I had no issues with them coming apart or shedding. The red is as pictured.My only complaint would be that they're not all perfectly round like the picture makes it seem. I had to search through the bag to find the best ones and fluff them up a bit.

For some reason my cat is obsessed with red Pom poms. Not other color. He literally plays fetch with these all by himself. He's so happy. Lol
