Mission: To offer survivors of human trafficking the choice of safe housing in an environment that not only fosters healing but also promotes the empowerment, growth and development of such survivors and related activities; and to promote awareness, advocacy and solutions for survivors and victims of human trafficking.
Results: The Joint State Government Commission found that “Pennsylvania is a source, destination, & pass-through state for trafficking in persons. ” As we raise the funds and awareness needed to sustain a home for survivors, we've been opening eyes and minds to the realities of sex trafficking in EVERY zip code. Our educators have been speaking with groups, businesses, organizations, and churches. Topics include how to recognize and respond to sex trafficking, how to prevent it, and social media recruitment. We are beginning to expand training into the medical and law enforcement fields. WE’RE READY to help women lead empowered lives, free from the abuse & violence of the street, and we're making sure our community is ready, too!
