Haven't been worn anywhere but around the house, so I'm not too sure about durability. Ordered a small for my 9 year old (approximately 4'3 57 lbs). At first I worried they would be too small in the waist, but I stretched the elastic out w/ my hands once, before I ever washed them; they have fit fine since. Appear to be good house shorts.
