Mission: Smiles for Seniors is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to remembering our elderly and/or disabled in assisted living and nursing facilities, as well as home bound seniors, through year-long gifts, treats and activities.

Results: We are directly working with hundreds of seniors and dozens of facilities. We also provided Easter treat bags in 2021 to 1600 seniors in the Cincinnati Area Senior Service program (CASS).

Target demographics: increase happiness and morale of isolated residents in assisted living and nursing facilities, as well as homebound seniors, by providing gifts, treats and activities. .

Direct beneficiaries per year: 2500 seniors (1600 homebound)

Geographic areas served: assisted living, nursing facilities and homebound seniors

Programs: 1.) Social activities (bingo, ice cream socials, cook outs, assistance at parties, etc. ). 2.) Handmade items to keep the seniors warm (scarves, hats, gloves, shawls, etc. ). 3.) Sweet treats on all holidays and other occasions. 4.) Christmas gifts
