Mission: Sisters Empowerment Network, Inc. mission is to educate disfranchised women to become self-sufficient by preparing them to achieve their full potential through support services, training, leadership and career development.
Results: We spent a lot of time looking for dedicated and serious volunteers to assist us in our mission. We also spent time seeking profitable fundraising projects to purchase our multi-purpose networking resource service center.
Target demographics: Disenfranchised women, including victims of domestic violence in the Greater Clayton County and surrounding areas. We also have programs for girls 11 to 17 years of age.
Programs: Monthly Support Groups, Quarterly Workshops on Financial Management, Job Training Referrals, We offer individual life skill coaching, individual counseling, legal advocacy resources. We also provide GED referrals.
