Mission: The Sea Turtle Recovery (STR) is dedicated to the rehabilitation, preservation and conservation of sea turtles. STR’s goal is to rehabilitate sick or injured sea turtles for their release back to the wild. The Sea Turtle Recovery will also educate the public on the important ecological role of sea turtles, threats endangering them, and ways to protect their future.
Results: Sea Turtle Recovery just opened a rehabilitation hospital in West Orange, NJ and on Dec. 21,2016 took in 11 sea turtles for care and release!

Direct beneficiaries per year: Sea Turtle Recovery opened its doors in December 2016 and immediately took in 11 endangered Kemp's Ridley sea turtles.
