I’ve had the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) in Charcoal for years now, and it’s still my go-to smart speaker. For such a small device, the sound quality is way better than you'd expectclear vocals, decent bass, and enough volume to fill a room. Alexa responds quickly, even from across the room, and I use it daily for weather updates, smart home controls, reminders, music, and random trivia. The compact size makes it easy to place anywherekitchen counter, nightstand, even in the bathroom. Setup was fast and seamless, and it stays connected without any hiccups. For the price, you’re getting a ton of functionality in a small, sleek package. Still holds up years laterhighly recommend.

Very frustrating to use. Had to do a software update before it would work out of the box. Often times would not play music but would tell me music was streaming on another device. I had no other devices. I sold it on Craigslist. Piece of junk.

I’ve had this echo for 5 years and I really like it, it’s definitely better than the gen 5. It’s much louder and works great.

After speaking with customer support because their firmware bricked my echo dot which is less than three years old, I was told it’s a disposable item. Oh, they’ll give me 15 off a purchase towards a new one. BUYER BEWARE! Also my two Echo show 5 have to be rebooted everyday because the screen goes black which they know about for quite sometime.

I think every Senior Citizen should have one...it is very convenient amp; easy to use in home...especially for falls...(Echo call 911 ) it will call amp; give your ho.e address...

My daughter uses this in her room to read books to her or tell her stories before bedtime.

I have three of these plus one of the newer versions, and they’ve been fantastic. They sync up perfectly, so I can listen to seamless music throughout the house, and they work great with my smart lights. Setup was easy, and Alexa responds quickly to commands. Even though the newer version has better sound, these still hold up really well. They’re compact, reliable, and perfect for expanding a smart home setup. Definitely a solid choice!

Product stopped working after a few months.

The small size of the 3rd Gen Dot is a major plus. It fits easily on nightstands, shelves, or even countertops without taking up much space. Its fabric-covered design is also a subtle improvement over the previous generation's plastic. IT making a budget-friendly way to bring Alexa into your home. It works very well and Sound Quality is consistent.

Bought this for my kid for Christmas and she loves it. It got good sound quality and works well. She likes to sit there and just talk to it and asks it all kinds of questions, and play music on it

Mounted under cabinet and got sick of resetting so it isn’t used.

I bought this for a Christmas gift and it went over great. I would definitely buy another one.

I felt this product was very easy to install and use. My kids love it as well because if I’m not home they can call me from the Echo. I personally love it because I can use the drop in feature on the echo and make sure they are behaving until I get home.
