Mission: The Mission of the Sadie Keller Foundation "I know how hard it is to fight cancer as a child, first hand. My mission for the Sadie Keller Foundation is to put a smile on the faces of children fighting cancer all over the country, and remind them to keep fighting by giving them special gifts, to raise awareness for childhood cancer, and to make a HUGE impact. Results: Sadie was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 7 in 2015.During her treatment she began making videos on youtube to explain what its like to have cancer as a child. She created a non-profit foundation which started with a toy drive at Christmas called Sadie's Sleigh. Sadie is a public speaker, an advocate, a giver, and lobbies in Washington D. C. for more funding for childhood cancer. Sadie has done numerous television interviews to raise awareness for childhood cancer including National news such as several Fox News stories, CNN, ESPN, Inside Edition and more. The 4 campaigns of the Sadie Keller Foundation are:CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN -Only 4% of the National Cancer Institute funding is given to childhood cancer research. More AWARENESS More MONEY! We raise awareness through photos, videos, social media and public speaking events. SADIES SLEIGH -Providing thousands of toys and Christmas Magic to kids with cancer (and siblings) that are in the hospital on Christmas Day. Thus far, Sadie has collected and donated over 20,000 toys for oncology patients in the hospital on Christmas in DFW. MILESTONE GIFTS-Large gifts given year round to Childhood Cancer fighters as they reach big milestones in their treatment and to help them stay positive in their fight. PARENT SUPPORT PACKS -The hospital stays are long we will be providing gas, grocery, meal cards and other necessities to ease this hard time. SKF MOVEMENT FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER-Our mission is to improve funding and treatments for all childhood cancer. Sadie and the Sadie Keller Foundation lobby in Washington D. C. to members of Congress for more funding and other childhood cancer bills. Sadie's passion is strong and her movement is fast. Join her because. . .
