Micro-Induction Cooktop provides the best in cooktop performance, safety and efficiency. Induction heats as electricity flows through a coil to produce a magnetic field under the ceramic plate. When a ferromagnetic cookware is placed on the ceramic surface, currents are induced in the cookware and instant heat is generated due to the resistance of the pan. Heat is generated to the pan only and no heat is lost. As there are no open flames, inductions are safer to use than conventional burners. Once cookware is removed, all molecular activity ceases and heating is stopped immediately.

Easy to use, low noise compared to duxtop induction cooktop.

I have a built-in gas cooktop in my kitchen. My city is saying that new homes should not have gas cooktops, or other natural gas appliances, so I bought this to try out induction cooking. I also bought an induction-compatible pan to go with it. This works great! I now use it as a side burner, for anything that needs warming up or boiling (I have not yet bought an induction-compatible fry pan). Heat control is instantaneously responsive and easily adjusted in fine increments. By using it on the side, I'm using less gas, which improves the air quality in my house. :-) It's cooling fan does make a bit of noise, but so do air fryers, and toaster ovens...

Need ssteel cookware, magnet test bottom of pan being used, that's how the buggar works, magnets to generate heat.Works awesome, fast heat, faster than gas!
