I liked this wool blanket it is not picky like the other wool blanket I have. It is soft and the smell is not as strong as other wool blankets.

As mentioned in other reviews, the blanket arrived with a strong chemical odor. My first thought was to wash it, but the tag states to dry clean only. That wasn't practical for me, so I washed it in my machine on the delicates setting. The odor was still there, so I washed it again, then let it air for a few days, and sprayed it with deodorizer. Overall, it's an ok blanket. It definitely is not like the one I had in the military. It's soft and lightweight, good for indoor use, but I wouldn't want to be out in the cold with it.
