Mission: Founded in 1980, Ronald McDonald House Charities® of San Diego provides a "home-away-from-home" to families with children being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals. Our community-supported Ronald McDonald House gives families a comfortable place to take a break, have a hot meal, get some sleep, and so much more. We also provide a supportive ear, warm hugs, and relief from the stress and expense of caring for a sick child. (Less)
