Quality is great but seems to weaken the signal strength. Have to crank the input all the way up to get a decent signal.

We use this at Church to connect our laptop to the sound system through the RCA input jacks with a 1/8 headphone jack on the other end, to use a USB stick for soundtracks and music. We also use the 1/8 inch input jack to plug an android or iphone up to use with Youtube. Both work great!!!. Takes all of the hum out of our system for us. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for an inexpensive, effective way to run a guest laptop's headphone output (or any other consumer-grade unbalanced line output, like a phone or mp3 player) over distance into a balanced input on a pro sound system, this is it. Effective, and just the right options without being confusing. Also solidly-built. We love it at my church

This is a nice little unit for what we were trying to do, which was to have a DI that would allow users to plugin in whatever they had and get a consistent stereo output without the need for adapter cables that inevitably crap out at exactly the wrong time. This thing is built like a tank so I expect it to last a while. The only thing I wish it had was a little more boost, but I realize that's what you get with a passive box.

This is a great deal for a stereo direct box. Very few come with so many different input connections, and even few come with a variable input trim. I work at a church and use this for multiple computers, keyboards, and more. Love this thing. Will continue purchasing it when I need a stereo DI.

It does exactly what I need it to (provide a way to convert 3.5mm jack to XLR output), but being a passive converter, it doesn't allow for my speakers (M-Audio BX5s) to go very loud. This isn't necessarily a problem, but know that buying this doesn't COMPLETELY replace having a preamp (which is what I was trying to avoid buying).
