Lot of work, not complicated but takes precision. Instructions and measuring instructions are poor, YouTube videos are 10 years old. You must have full height base cabinets - No drawers. Needs to be 14" wide and from inside of face frame and hinges. The swing is massive and won't come the height of counter.

The unit is made from strong metal with a nice finish. Instalation was a pain due to the terrible instructions provided. The "template" provided is a photocopy of a hand made drawing. Also someone thought it'd be a good idea to mount the one in the provided pictures in a black cabinet with no added lighting. For the price a bit more effort would've been appreciated. Besides that it's a solid product 8/10.

My elderly client had a TV cabinet with a shelf inside of it that was very difficult for them to access. After looking around, I found this product and was surprised how easy it was to install. I didn't use the instructions, I simply eyeballed where I wanted the hardware to go and the depth of the shelf and just began trial and error. Took a few tries, but eventually got it at the height I wanted it. Now this elderly couple can access their shelf without bending down to reach for things.

We love this soft close mixer lift! We did have to modify a cabinet (which is why there is no door currently). The instruction video made installation really easy. We cut 1.5" butcher block and stained to match our counters. The mixer stays plugged in by a smart outlet. We did need to go up to level 3 on the tension spring, super simple to change. The clip for the soft close was a little tricky (you need to install all 4, but the video shows only 2). Overall, we love it!

We've purchased a number of Rev-a-shelf items. The options get a little confusing but this is a nice piece. You need to provide your own shelf for the mixer. We have ours in a 15" cabinet. I'd probably recommend an 18" but the 15" works, it's just tight and a small shelf space. Lifting requires you to bend down to reach under and release tabs. It would be better if there could be a top release. Once up and locked in it's fine, and when released again it floats back into the cabinet very nicely.
