I purchased this to replace it with the same that I had for 20 plus years. I did need an electrician to adapt it to 750. it comes from the factory set at 1400 . I have a very old house and not enough power to keep it with the factory setting. I really like this unit. The newer one seems a bit quieter. It heats the area quickly. I missed it when it broke. I set the thermostat on a lower setting and it will maintain it during the night. I do recommend it. No heat up time, starts right up

I bought Broan hoping for som quality. Instead some internal reconfigurations were required to get the higher output. Yes, there is a video, but the guys hands are in the way to see where the wires land. A stak-on terminal ended up breaking while pulling on it, now it needs repairing. Not Happy. First one was sent here to my home, the replacement sent to my son's home a state away, Why?

This heater makes an unacceptable level of noise for consumer applications. Everything else it does "according to the specs" makes it irrelevant when you hear a turbojet taking off your kitchen floor. Although the sound level is not a requirement you can find on any kick space heater specs, this is the first thing I will now look for. What a waste of money for me, but you can avoid it and run away elsewhere.

This little guy puts out a decent amount of heat, out-performing a larger Cadet heater that had been in the same space until it failed. The instructions were a little challenging for me to track with at first, but once I started actually doing it they made sense as I went along and I was able to wire it up with no issues. As other reviewers have noted, this thing is pretty loud - it's not obnoxiously loud in my opinion, but you will definitely never find yourself wondering whether or not it is on. Overall the instructions could have been a little easier to follow and it is pretty noisy; but it is outstanding for the price and exceeds my expectations in terms of performance, and thus is a five-star item in by book.

This Broan heater is noisy, by any reasonable standards, even though advertised with the "Special Feature" of being NOISELESS.

After installing the first heater I got a second to replace two heaters in my 37yr old RV. Working well and easily fit into the space available, after I shortened the opening left from the old heater. The conversion from 220v to 110v was simple enough (watch the video from the QR and read the included instructions). I don't know why the instructions don't have you remove the red light you disconnect during conversion. I did on the second install. Sound is not so bad. What do you expect from a fan driven forced air heater in a metal box.

This was a used unit that did not appear to have been installed. Everything was as good as new and packed with everything except the installation guide, but I had kept the guide from the unit that was being replaced, so not a problem.

Our electrician suggested we install a toe kick heater over an integrated fan/heater as part of a basement bathroom renovation project due to the fan's location near a window. Fortunately, we were able to squeeze it under our vanity and it is still very nicely concealed. Our bathroom is pretty small, lt;70sqft, so we wanted one with an adjustable thermostat even though we still put the wall unit on a switch. We were worried it would run to hot. It doesn't! I wish it had even a little more power. With that said, it's probably fighting an overpowered exhaust fan and definitely still takes the chill off nicely. At first it was intermittently pretty noisy, which was really confusing to me. I didn't mind the noise level, but the pitch/scratchiness was not very pleasant. I figured out that this was the result of it being attached to the wood frame inset using metal screws and not wood screws. As soon as I replaced these with more solid wood screws, the noise not only improved with respect to tonal qualities but the heater also got noticeably quieter. I would absolutely buy this toe kick heater again. With better attachment screws, it's a solid choice.

I have one in my 150 sq. ft. primary bathroom for 21 years and it has always been a reliable and adequate source of heat.
