Used this to tap threads on a engine water pump. Their was a extra port I did not need to use for the swap, this was a better and cleaner solution vs plugging with a freeze plug.

I drilled a 40 schedule 260 psi rated PVC pipe to build an outside solar shower to place bibs. It created nice threaded hole to thread the bibs. It was the right tool for it.

Used this to drill and tap aluminum stock. It cuts very clean threads. Just go slow and back out the tap a 1/4 -1/2 turn every now and then to clear the chips.

I only need to cut threads into a 1/4" of aluminum and tap cut the threads without much effort.

If I never use it again, worth the price. Had to add a fill plug to a CI transfer case, both drill and tap worked without any issues. Clean hole, clean threads.
