These paring knives are great. I just re-ordered the second time. They are colorful and super sharp, so be careful. My original ordered knives are still very sharp after two years. The only reason I reordered is I keep leaving them at friends' homes and I don't seem to get them back. These are also a great gift for any cook and are a nice touch in a basket of kitchen tools for a wedding gift.

I've only used two of the mats since they arrived - they worked fine, cleaned beautifully. The green/produce board in my mind, scratched quite a bit as I had several large onions 8 cloves of garlic and 6 singed dried peppers for a pot of chili - and my knives were recently sharpened. So, I should have been surprised that that green mat took on a challenge for it's debut in my kitchen!My final assessment will come later.

I have used these for years in the kitchen and camping. They dont seem to clean well in the dishwasher.

I was always needing a knife to cut up food at a restaurant, or food that I brought to feed but didn't have time to prepare into little bites. This knife set is perfect because the cover locks in place VERY WELL - it would be hard for a small toddler to get the cover off themselves, which is a good thing!I keep one in the car, one in the diaper bag, one in my purse, one on our boat. Highly recommend buying!

My daughters and I always choose these knives for food prep. They are lightweight, balanced and VERY sharp. Great for everything from slicing tomatoes to trimming meats.
