Maybe it's me but seems like you have push the drawer almost closed before the soft close action. Wish they activated sooner.

Well made. The soft close is a necessity. Getting this properly installed needs some care.

I just installed 4 sets of these. First of all, measure, measure, measure your drawer openings. Especially the width on the front, middle and back. If this is off, make it right. Use shims or whatever you need to make it straight, square, level, etc. This will make the slide installation go smooth. Don't forget the 1/2" needed on both sides for the slides. As for the screws, I tried using the supplied screws, but the heads came right off. And they are the wrong type and too long (5/8"). They are flat head that could cause the slides to shift when screwing in. Go to Home Depot and get a pack of Everbilt 8 1/2" pan head Phillips zinc. Cheaper than the stainless. Good Luck

Too hard to close, the soft close works fine but you have to push the drawers too much. I expected it to glide easily without pushing too much.

Once again there are no screws included although the directions and packing materials show screws included, ordered twice, does not include screws.

I put maybe a 20 pound drawer on this assuming that it could handle that weight. When i closed it, it was a little too much force. Both mechanisms broke. Pretty cheap plastic.

I built drawers for our new (to us) camper that had none in the kitchen area. I had the benefit of using these on other projects and they are rock solid. What I had not planned for was the fact that the "slow close" mechanism also securely holds the drawers closed as we are towing the camper. I was all ready to put latches on the drawers, but no need.

I bought these to replace all the soft-close drawer slides in our custom-built MBR closet most of which failed after just a couple of years of normal use! They are noticeably heavier (stronger) and the double-spring mechanism provides a more confident, controlled closure than the single-spring versions we paid a lot of money for. I believe these will be executing their simple tasks for a long time.
