The Lightweight Aluminum Transport Chair comes equipped with loop locks and 12-inch rear flat-free wheels. The loop locks enhance the ease of braking for the person assisting the user and the huge 12" rear wheels allow the chair to move smoothly indoors and out, over any surface. The back of the transport wheelchair folds down using the handy lever on the chair's back for easy transport and storage.
These wheelchairs include padded fixed armrests, removable swing-away footrests, and a durable aluminum frame. The swing-away footrests are hinged and can be opened outwards to help make getting in and out of the chair much easier. A seat belt comes standard with the transport chair to provide for patient safety and to help prevent patient fall injuries.
The foldable chair is available in two color options, a red frame with black upholstery or a blue frame with black upholstery. The black composite wheels require virtually no maintenance with a non-marring surface. The aluminum transport chair supports up to 3 pounds, yet is very lightweight at only 19 pounds.
