I use a table saw w/stacked dado blade to make the mortice. Works awesome!

I bought a couple of these for my new house. Install involves cutting a slot in the bottom of the door with an aggressive router bit. I suggest practicing before you grind into the bottom of the door.One thing to be aware of.. If you have a 1 3/8 door thickness you will need Pemko K411 end plates. They do not come with the standard kit.
