the darn cat knocked it off the table and the dogs chewed it to pieces. I have to order another as I never got to use it but looks and feels like it will do the job easily. No cat or dogs were harmed during the post destruction event.

I've tried using the spring loaded de-soldering tools. While they might work for some applications, they tend to jar the assembly from which the solder is being removed. This is unacceptable in many cases, especially for printed circuit board assemblies. This solder bulb does not jar the assembly, has excellent suction and is easy to clean. This bulb also beats all of the de-soldering braid that I have recently tried using. When using de-soldering braid on a printed circuit board assembly, there is much more danger of lifting a pad or damaging a circuit trace than there is when using this bulb.

It works fine. I just don't know how to get the old solder out or just buy a new one when it's full. For as often as I use it, I'll probably never need to buy a new one

this has what appears to be a nylon tip and a rubber like bulb produces suction and can also be used to blow material away from parts.
