Redesigned by Curt Campbell specifically for the Dayton Audio RST28F-4 tweeter, the AviaTrix-RST speaker kit is still considered an audio workhorse capable of providing extremely low distortion with incredible output capability. This package includes all the components you need to build a pair of AviaTrix-RST speakers in a compact sealed design or a powerful mass loaded transmission line, except the cabinets.

AviaTrix-RST MTM Components Only Speaker Kit Pair
This AviaTrix-RST MTM components kit contains everything required to construct the sealed or mass loaded transmission line version of the MTM AviaTrix-RST speaker project. The crossover for this new version of the best selling Aviatrix MTM has been redesigned by Curt Campbell to use the Dayton Audio RST28F-4 fabric dome tweeter and deliver almost exactly the same sound that made the original Axiatrix speaker design so popular. The sealed version of the AviaTrix-RST uses a compact 0.53 cubic foot enclosure for center channel or as smaller mains-the F3 models below 60 Hz with an F10 of 40 Hz, and will integrate well with a subwoofer. The mass loaded transmission line version will result in an F3 in the mid 40's making it suitable for use even without a subwoofer. The AviaTrix-RST MTM has adequate bass extension and can be used as a stand alone speaker system for 2-channel music. At the heart of the components kit are two 1-1/8" silk dome tweeters and four 5-1/4" aluminum cone midbass drivers.
