This universal CD slot holder is the most secure mount for smartphones. One touch mount secures your phone without having to tighten a screw like other CD slot mounts.

One touch CD slot mount is the most secure way to hold your smartphone. It uses the outer part of your vehicle's CD player which has no effect on the inner workings of the CD mechanics. The one touch trigger quickly installs the slot mount into your CD player. To uninstall flip the trigger in the opposite direction and the mount pulls right out. Other CD slot mounts require you to turn a thumb screw until you think it is tight enough every time you install it and unscrew to uninstall. The package includes rubber spacers for CD players that need a tighter fit.
The universal holder's foam rubber cushioned plastic grips safely hold smartphones from 2" to 4-1/8" wide. Two adjustable levers at the base of the holder give your smartphone even more support. The levers adjust to prevent them from blocking a headphone jack or charging port.

We bought these the first time to mount some pegboard to the trim on our walls. We like the large flange heads, the color and the short length. They have become our all-purpose go-to wood screw to use for almost everything and we had to order another 100!

If mounting a zip tie with a mounting hole, use the 3/4 length so you get enough bite of the screw in the wood. For Velcro, start the screw in the velcro with a drill and philips tip, then screw it to a wood surface and then wrap cables in the velcro.
