Mission: Partners In Care Maryland (PIC) is a 50l(c)3 community nonprofit helping older adults remain independent in their own homes and engaged in the community. We operate using an innovative time/service exchange model with values of reciprocity, social capital, and equality infused into the culture of the program. We engage people to use their time and talents to help themselves and each other with the myriad tasks of everyday living. Most people want to stay in the homes and communities they know and love. We help make this possible by providing transportation and handyman services, member care, advocacy, and social programs to support healthy, independent, active living. We are celebrating our 25th Anniversary in Anne Arundel County this year. Results: As of FY18: Partners In Care Maryland, Inc. Has over 3,000+ MEMBERS and provided over 584,488 HOURS EXCHANGED to serve the Older Adults of our community.

Target demographics: We support the Independence of Older Adults allowing them to age In place. At PIC we are Healthier, Happier, Valued, Respected and a active part of our community.

Direct beneficiaries per year: In FY-2018 our members generated 45,000 hours of service in our community. Members helped PIC directly with fundraising, events, outreach, advocacy, and many office tasks, supporting program operations 7,594 times.

Programs: Member Care which includes: Advocacy, Navigation through Resources, Social Engagements, Medication Adherence, Friendly Visits, Reduction of Isolation, Completion of Advance Directives, Wellness training and more. Partners In Care supports Older Adults in remaining Active, Healthy, and Happier through our "Neighbor Helping Neighbor" communities.
