Since 1987, Check Eggert's Pacific Natural Foods has beenmaking great products using pure and simple ingredients. As Eggert says, they do it the right way, not necessarily the easy way: caring for their animals, converting conventional farmland to organic, restoring lost wetlands, and implementing programs to conserve resources and limit energy use and waste.
The company started by making soy milk and tofu, which were niche products at the time even within the health food category.
