Purchased this to keep a hernia pushed in until surgery can be done in a few weeks. Out of the many tried, this one works the best and does its job. However, you will need to place a swathe of cloth or some other soft barrier between it and your skin (where the Velcro folds over); otherwise, the Velcro will cut into your skin on the edgesand that hurts. But overall, once you work out the cloth swathe, it’s wearability is fairly comfortable, and it’s a good value for costit is also constructed for durability and will last for a long time.

My husband has a hernia and since he has to lift and transport a lot of things for his work, this product protected him from aggravating the situation before his spring scheduled operation.

Before purchasing this item, I had only a few minutes in the morning to move without pain. At times, the pain was so great that I literally could not move. Finally, I was diagnosed with a hernia and found that I could contain the pain temporarily by keeping the affected area pressed in with my hand, but upon acquiring this item, I found that I could conduct my life with near-normal activity with virtually no pain. It's truly a game-changer if you need it.

I had an inguinal hernia and couldn’t stand for more than 10 minutes without a dull ache. This kept the hernia in place and kept pain away until I could have the surgery to repair the hernia. Very thankful for those few months to keep me going.
