Kept the bulge in until i could get open mesh surgery. Worst part is the thong up your crack but you get used to it. I didn't undo that strap that goes up your butt everytime I took it on and off. I set that part permanently and actually tucked in the velkro from behind so it didn't show as much through my pants in the back. Also, I didn't use the pillow because it was too bulky. It wasn't as effective that way but it still did the job. And without the pillow, it makes for a good waist band holster for those days I wore gym shorts...or pants without a belt. I wore it every day for almost 2 years. If I didn't have to wear it, I wouldn't have. It was a great day when I got to throw it away. The surgery went well. It's been like 5 months and I don't even feel the surgery site. The first few days after surgery were rough though. Lots of pain. So glad that's behind me.

This product allows you to remain active while you make arrangements to treat a hernia medically. It is strong enough that, when installed correctly, can hold a hernia in place (inside the body) while you keep up with day-to-day activities. In other words, it is sturdy enough to do the job. And unlike poorly designed products, it is comfortable enough to wear all day, and especially important, to loosen the adjustment when you want to relax. Perfect.

Have a golfball size hernia when standing and have to wait for operation. This is perfect! I can run again! Strong support right over bulge, can run easy with no problems. My jean waist size is 34 and S/M is perfect could go much larger as its similar to back brace but has the hard cushion for groin hernia attached, can go right or left as you just slide it over. I do not use the strap under thigh as its annoying to run in, works fine without it

The device made an immediate difference, I have a farm so am active outdoors every day. The insert is comfortable but I have found that turning it sideways is more comfortable. The pocket, however, does not allow that so the small patch of Velcro is all that holds it in place. We'll see how I like it in 6 months.

This product is the best alternative especially for those who cannot have surgery due to health problems . I sincerely thank the manufacturers of this product. because I am incredibly afraid of surgery. I have a very serious anxiety disorder and no one was able to take me to the surgery. I saw that the hernia disappeared after using this product for 1 month without ever removing it. and I stopped using it because I didn't even have pain. I didn't have any problems even though I never used a belt like 5 6 months..I wear it for a few days when I have minor pain from time to time.

I ordered this to replace another one from a different brand in which the velcro strap wore out pretty quickly. This belt is constructed much better in the sense that it stays put once you strap in. The velcro is made better than the other one I had. Two issues I have with it are 1) it's real bulky. The strap and the velcro pads are quite wide, and dig into my waist at times unless I have the two ends matched up perfectly, and 2) similar problem with the leg strap going through the middle. Once I get the end through the little loop and pull it back to attach the strap, the velcro digs into the back side of my leg. I've tried flipping the strap and that made it worse. Overall I like this one better than the last one, but jeez I wish comfort would have been a bigger consideration when this model was made, because it is otherwise quite effective.
