Two Years Later (11/2022) .... I am finally getting around to writing a review of this item. It's a good thing though, because I can now report that this thing is awesome. It has held up incredible well (minus the plastic base, which still functions but looks very dingy, cut-up, scratched, etc...). We constantly have it in the dishwasher (top rack only) and haven't noticed it dull or rust or anything of that nature. No cracks yet, the center metal ring is still welded on. Doing fine. Would purchase this item again. In fact, I purchased one for a family member almost a year ago and it sounds like that one is working great as well.

First, it works great for apples. Cores it and leaves nice thin slices ready for snacking or juicing. A little difficult to get all the way through but that may just be a me thing. If it was sharper, it would work better but it that might make it more dangerous. Just need to hit the gym more often???

I like that this gives you thinner slices and the bottom pops the apple ALL THE WAY through the chopper. Great little tool!!

Love this thing! The slices it creates are the perfect size. It has a platform the apple sits on that creates a clean slice all the way through. Very sturdy, easy to clean. An apple, small squeeze of lemon and a couple teaspoons of cinnamon make a great snack.
