Tan carpet and brown hair dye aren't a good combo. I tried a out everything you can think of and nothing worked until I ordered this. It lightened up the stain when I used it with a steam cleaner and lots and lots of scrubbing. It softened the color difference greatly. I know the spot is still there but others don't seem to notice it. As far as I'm concerned that's a success.

This stick works ok. But the stick is hard like Castile soap. I had to soak it in warm water to rub it on stains without abrasion.

I love this stick! It is my go-to cleaner for my toughest stains and I trust it over my other cleaners on delicate fabrics. It is also perfect for travel. I bring it along for all my quick laundry needs. One stick can last a long time and I have a family of 6.

I learned about this product from an online site called Hobby Bobbins. She restores vintage wedding dresses. Seriously, it seemed too good to be true, but Holy Cow this stuff is a miracle worker. My husbands white dress shirts were a mess; grungy collars and cuffs, the ghost of old stains that those other pretreat products couldn't get out. I followed the instructions by dampening the item, rubbed the stain stick in and used a soft brush to give it a little scrubadub and threw it in the wash. This product got out the old stains and cleaned the cuffs and collar. I also use the washing soda they sell because its ingredient list is different that other washing soda. This little stick is an absolute powerhouse and blasts out stains both old and new!

This stuff is amazing!!! You wet the fabric and rub the stick on like a bar of soap almost. Let the item sit overnight then launder. You may have to repeat the process for tough stains but I love it!! It has even worked on rusty looking water stains!!! Well worth the price!!

Used it on an old stain on one of my mom's shirts. She lives in a nursing home so stuff never gets pretreated. Stain did come out so, so far, so good.

I have used Nellie's laundry detergent and Wow stick for years. Love them both and the Wow stick is extremely effective at removing stains, even set in stains.

This is a bit expensive but we'll worth the money, works on the most stubborn stains might take a few goes but will lift the stains.
