Mission: The National Library of Addictions is an intellectual gathering place for health care professionals and community members who are working to overcome the effects of addictions. The Library serves as an educational institute, research facility, and neutral gathering place for individuals, families and communities affected by addictions. Founded in 1993 by Dr. Punyamurtula S. Kishore to support work in addictions treatment, the library is designed to provide a non-profit structure for addiction professionals to exchange ideas and develop treatment methodologies.
