This is a perfect product where it can be mixed with any sauce, vegetables, or meat to make a hearty dish. Once opened I rinse the noodles for a minute or two and let drain. Then, I add to a pan and saute with other ingredients. Like tofu is absorbs flavors. A perfect product for a low carb and low calorie meal.

If you don't get the odor free it smells like they were packed in a rotten fish market. I've gotten two different types of noodle from the same manufacturer and one smelled to high heaven and the other was fine. The stinky ones can be rinsed and rinsed and rinsed and they are ok in a soup so it's not a total loss. But other than that I love these noodles. I have been dieting and they are like free food. They fill you up and are very low in calories.

The Konjac noodles are virtually tasteless and a great addition to your repertoire if you're trying to cut calories/carbs. I saut a bunch of veggies (and sometimes add shrimp/chicken) to add to these noodles and then I have a very sizable amount to eat with minimal calories!

I'm a borderline diabetic, my living companion is a full-fledged diabetic who is a keto person. I had a longing for spaghetti but I knew he'd never eat ituntil I found these noodles.I made my delicious meaty/mushroom pasta sauce, then with some trepidation opened the angel-hair noodles, drained them, then sauted them lightly in a hot pan to cook off the remaining liquid.There was NO odor from the noodles. They were not tough or rubbery. I plated them and covered with the sauce. All I can say is YUM! We both ate like beavers and it was SO GOOD!For my pasta sauce, I use what i call the “cheater method” 1/2 lb each of lean ground beef and mild Italian sausage and 1 finely chopped onion browned together in a modest amount of olive oil, then add one quart jar of Classico pasta sauce, 3 cloves of chopped garlic, parsley, pepper, and 3 very large diced mushrooms. This makes about 2.5-3 quarts of sauce after simmering it down slowly with the lid tilted for a couple hours to thicken.

With enough seasoning these noodles are amazing. I recommend cooking for longer to make them less chewy but they work great for a super low calorie alternative to any meal.

These are the first Konjac noodles I've tried, and I honestly, don't know if it's just how all of them are but these are hard to make tender like regular pasta. They aren't really crunchy but still firm after cooking. I found that sauteing them in a fat helps to tenderize them a bit. They don't smell when you open the package which is great! I do rinse them out of habit and I suggest over seasoning them a lot to help them absorb flavor. They weren't so great in a tomato sauce for me but, I have repurchased them so I will keep experimenting!

Love this brand. Many people complain that konjac noodles have a sea-like smell but these never have. They soak up any flavor you add and have a perfect springy texture. Great alternative to noodles.
