Easily attaches to a 1 lb bottle, and the base assists the heater to stand erect. Love it!!

Perfect for a tent, small camper or deer blind. Compact, will fit in a small backpack. Pretty good run time on a 1 propane bottle. Only thing, I wish the heat was adjustable. It’s off or on. Would be nice to have a lower heat setting.

We have used it in our rv several times and really liked the heat it provided.with no adverse affects to us. Very handy to have if major heating goes out or weather dips to freezing temps.

Just received my buddy. Being a nomad living in a van it gets cold even in Arizona. Had trouble getting it started at first, found out you can get it started by applying a little bit of alcohol on a q tip, worked great. First morning using it and I'm loving it so far.

This Mr. Heater Little Buddy has become my go-to for staying warm in various situations. Whether I'm camping, working in the garage, or dealing with a power outage, this little heater provides reliable and efficient warmth. nbsp; What I liked: Portable and Compact: It's incredibly lightweight and easy to carry around. The compact size makes it easy to store and transport. Powerful Heat Output: Despite its small size, this heater packs a punch. The 3800 BTU output is enough to warm up a small space quickly. nbsp; Indoor Safe: The oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) and accidental tip-over safety shut-off provide peace of mind when using it indoors. nbsp; Easy to Use: Simply connect a 1lb propane cylinder, turn the knob, and push the igniter button. It's that easy! nbsp; Efficient Fuel Consumption: It runs for a decent amount of time on a single propane cylinder. Minor Considerations: Open Flame: As with any propane heater, it's important to use it in a well-ventilated area and keep it away from flammable materials. Not for Large Spaces: This heater is designed for small spaces. It's not ideal for heating large rooms. nbsp; Overall: The Mr. Heater Little Buddy is a fantastic portable heater that's perfect for a variety of situations. It's compact, powerful, and easy to use. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and portable heating solution.

I bought this locally ahead of a hard freeze as a backup in case of major power outages like we had back in 2021. My own residence is electrical only and in 2021 my Coleman stovetop was my lifeline in helping me make it through 3 days of weather in the teens and no electricity so in the following years I've become somewhat of a prepper (well as much as a renter can be a prepper) and have portable power, fan, etc. so the only thing missing was portable heat. I'm also responsible for an elderly person in the family house so I brought this along with me as well just in case their power and gas would go out too. Fortunately none of that happened but I got to play with the Little Buddy Heater and gotta say I'm impressed. This little thing can put out some serious heat. Enough to heat a house? Well no, of course not but enough to warm up a room? Sure. I am a bit wary of using this indoor and you do smell a faint smell of the exhaust fumes but I guess it's about the same as using a couple of gas stove tops so if there is reasonable ventilation, it should be fine but personally, I would not sleep with it unless you have a CO detector. The other impressive thing is the build quality- this is very solid with lots of metal. The only possible thing about the design to consider is that unlike the Big Buddy, you HAVE to use this on 1 LB propane tank. If you have an adapter hose, there is no way to support it without rigging something up or getting one of those Tee connectors that are self supportive. If you get one of them with a 3 LB or 5 LB tank, you're golden for hours and hours. I think they say each pound will give you about 5.5 hours of heat. Last, this thing is easy to use. I was kind of confused at first but you press it for a few seconds and let go for the pilot light to come on but then you press and hold it for like 15 seconds and then the whole thing lights up. You press off and it goes out. How does it work? No clue but it does.

I tried to post a video of the unit but these file outputs just won't let me....however, it would show how the flame is a nice blue constant pilot light that when it ignites the ceramic is nice and even. The heat output comfortably works very nice for a 4 person tent. I use it also in my basement and while the basement part is 600 sq ft I keep it near my couch as I watch TV and it keeps me warm. The length of burn is around 5 hrs. and I use a re-fillable tank that I fill using a 20lb tank, I get more use this way rather than buy individual coleman tanks. Being in the 20's, it keeps the tent nice and warm.

This is very good heater for a small space. We take it to football games and it heats quickly but doesn't heat any distance. But it's okay for the small purpose for which you purpose it.

Easy to light was the selling factor for me. Propane tanks with the plastic on the bottoms doesn't seem to work well, too tight. I use Coleman with the metal bottoms or I just remove the plastic from them. I make the base more stable by adding some 1/8 inch stretch cords to hold the tank steady. You can see how on Youtube/Snowys Outdoors channel. I believe in Australia it comes with stretch cords. I refill my tanks at about $.75 each. It keeps my small office nice and warm. I can't say anything negative about this product. It works great for me.
