Good little heater that puts out a decent amount of heat. Keeps my 10 person tent fairly comfortable, which is exactly what I want it to do. Two things keep it was 5 stars: because there's no way to regulate the amount of heat she puts out, it's easy to blow through a 1 lb can of propane. Second, the base unit is flimsy plastic. I had to build a sturdier base.

Lucky if it ignites at all, and if it does it will go out with the slightest of movement. Have 3 other Mr Heater units that are great, different model numbers - this seems very much like a fake. Press and hold pilot for 30-60 seconds at perfect level, and after 5 minutes or so it might fire up. If touched or adjusted in any way it will shut off- good luck starting again. Mr Heater brand you can buy, just buy a different model- you're welcome.

Took this on an off the grid back packing trip. Warmed up the inside of our tent within minutes.Love the feature where it will automatically shut off if tipped over.Wish it had a dial to adjust the heat though. It got too hot in the tent and we had to turn it off for a while.

Perfect for what we needed it for. Small/medium tent camping with 32 degree nights. I slept better knowing the safety features were in place. It was still a little cold even in addition to cold weather sleeping bags but we knew what we were getting into. It made the cold much more tolerable. Happy with this purchase and looking forward to more winter camping in the future.

Bigger than I thought it would be but does the job if its not windy. Just need to be careful with you have anything near it just like any propane type of equipment. Depending on propane tank, the stand the tank sits on isn't as sturdy.

My brother finally convinced me to buy this. Used it deer hunting in my stand in northern Wisconsin. Worked just fine! Really kicks out a lot of heat. Can be tricky to start in the wind. But lit up every time. Shut off immediately when I accidentally kicked it it tipped over. Wish I would have gotten this earlier.

Works as described. Tip over safety feature is audible and sensitive. Run time has been a consistent 6 hrs per one pound bottle after a week of almost continuous use. Pleased with performance.

Heat goes straight up not horizontal like you would want if settled this up on a park picnic table to heat you up while sitting. Only good for a tent.

I have had the Big Buddy for years and am satisfied with it. I wanted this small one as a back up and to use in smaller spaces. It works very well so far.

I really like this product. It worked great. I was afraid to fall asleep with it on all night, but I don’t think one little tank would have lasted the night anyways. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a larger base to make it more sturdy and not fall over.

I love this little thing, but be aware it's not a small as it looks. My only two negatives is the base does not fit perfectly on the bottom of my fuel bottles and I've had it fall off multiple times. That's pretty frustrating. Also, thenew and improved tip over shut off must use a little ball as it rolls around and rattles when not in use. I work very hard to pack my stuff for trips so that there's no rattling going on and this pretty much defeats that. But I understand that tip over safety is more important than listening to a little ball rattle on a 1000 MI trip. Haha.

Used this in my 4 man tent. It was damp and pouring down rain outside. Temperature was in the low 40's. This heater not only took the chill out, but I had to shut it down because it got too hot in the tent. Great safety features, I tilted the heater by accident and it immediately shut off. Definite plus for cool nights camping.

It works well. No smell. My only complaint is that there is no heat adjustment. Needs low/medium/high
