snapped a few of my old drill bits throughout the years. Most recently, I didn't know I was trying to go through a metal sheet in the dry wall and snapped another one. Bought these, and it went through like butter. Used it for 3 tv mounts, and I could tell a notable difference between these and my old ones. Definitely happy with my purchase!

Glad I got these on sale. The durability of the edge is the same as an xacto knife. I get a couple good drills and it's done. Mind you I'm just drilling wood. Expected more from dewalt.

Pilot point is a wonderful design that helps prevent wandering, especially for unpunched drilling. These bits are pilot points but are made from a low-grade metal that's too brittle for drilling mild steel and angle iron. I chipped two of these bits drilling 3/16" holes in a angle iron bed frame. I'm quite surprised at the breakage. I had a set of DeWalt pilot point bits that were Cobalt and they were the best set of bits I've owned, until I gave them away to a friend. I've just bought those to have again... If you plan on using drill bits more than occasionally or in a drill press don't buy these, get the Cobalt version (made in Germany).

For the given price, I didn't expect the drill bit to be so fragile. I used one and it immediately broke off. I'm surprised as how the quality is comprised. Color Is pretty, rest not good

The 5/32" bit stopped working after drilling only 6 holes through 1/8" thick mild steel. These bits are fine for wood, but shouldn't be advertised to work on metal if they only last such a short time! They are almost useless for the purpose I bought them for. I wish I could have my money back to put toward something that will do the job I need done.

The 1/8 bit snapped while drilling pilot holes in 3/4" plywood. DeWalt won't replace if more than 30 days from purchase date. Lesson learned.
