Some Tenants mistake the switch of the boiler for the light switch. This is great as it stops them from just switching it off.

I teach hands on Lock out Tag out in one of my classes and I was looking for a product that a lot of people might not think about locking out. Well this master lock product is just what I was looking for most people in the class never think about having to lock out a light switch but there are times when Yiu have to. This product was easy to use well built and a blast to show off in the class room for practical applications. I highly recommend this product and I look forward to using more master lock LOTO devices in my classroom.

My 6 year old with autism discovered the switch to the garbage disposal. I was terrified he would injure himself and found this as a solution. He is very smart and curious so the usual child proofing items meant for toddlers weren't going to cut it. This however is definitely going to keep him out when paired with a combo lock. It was easy to install and we chose a 3 digit combination lock to use so we wouldn't have to look for keys when we need to use the garbage disposal. This would work well for securing a switch to a gas fireplace as well. It has only been a few days but the peace of mind I have has been well worth the 10 dollars I paid for it.

i used these as a rocker switch guard. worked perfectly with a few cut out modifications to fit. my knees kept hitting the aerator and bilge pump switch when it was to late to know they were on an damn near flooded my boat. these are the right make and sturdiness to aleviate this problem

Great price, I have a cat the will sneak on the kitchen counter tops while he is walking he bumped into the garbage disposal switch and turned it on. All most burning up the motor from running it dry. This is a excellent safety feature for pets and children if you do not want a switch messed with. Works with a rocker switch or standard switches, Very easy to install

I put these on the light switches in my classroom (I teach students with Autism) - they are perfect. The only problem is the janitor broke one of them in trying to figure out how to open it. The plastic could be a little less fragile. It does work for what I intended (to keep one of my students from playing with the lights)
