I remember using this drill when I was 8 or 9 years old starting in the trade with my dad. This drill is still better than most others in its category. I saw the quality hadn't changed so I bought a second to have in waiting, it may take 20 years but it'll be there. My father's is still going strong 22 years later, and I use my at work daily for spade bits and just as a fourth drill while installing cabinets, 2 different bits in two drills and another set for the helper to use

Goodbye Black and Decker. I bought this after my Black and Decker failed me with a Cat 4 coming my way. I bought the bits too. Total overkill for my needs, this is an industrial tool, but I have one less thing to worry about now. And it has a cool ergo handle.

Powerful and it seems very good quality. The removable handle is a nice feature that holds securely and is easy to use. My only gripe is the holder for the chuck key. It's awkward for me to use.

I purchased this to use with the Mighty Red TBC Mixer. Despite being a relatively petite woman with no experience with power tools before, I found the drill very easy to use, in part because of the extra stabilizing side handle. The control trigger was super easy to adjust from very low speeds to moderate speeds as needed, and I actually had fun whipping up my first couple batches of plaster and a batch of thin set. Previous reviews almost scared me off because of how powerful some found it. Perhaps that would be the case for drilling, but for mixing it was easy-peasy. One feature to note: the lock-on button works only at high-speed. I was initially disappointed since I had purchased to use this on low, but it turned out to be totally unnecessary given how smooth the trigger and how easy it was to keep it on low manually.
