Our previous pan scrapers were made of a flexible plastic. These scrapers are made of very rigid plastic. While I had intended to use these on our nonstick pots and pans, I did not feel comfortable doing so because I was worried they would scratch the nonstick coating. Since we have now changed over to stainless steel and cast iron pans, I can say that these work well. I still wish they were a little flexible to help get the corners into some of the crevices that some of our pans have (particularly around the joints connecting the handles to the pots/pans). Because they are so rigid, I do feel like they will last longer than our previous flexible scraper. They do not give when they are used on stubborn cooked on food. I also throw them into the top third rack of our dishwasher to clean them if they get excessively greasy, and they are holding up well. Even after several months of use, they look brand new.

Per the description, "Country of Origin : USA". However, it was "made in china". I thought I was buying made in the USA. Lodge, you should do better than that. Are you ashamed to advertise "Made in china"?

Helps scrape of those hard-to-remove junk. But once one seasons their cast iron, you rarely have to use these.

I am new to the cast iron pan game. I have other cast iron products, but to be honest the cast iron pans were intimidating. After gaining the courage to jump in, I found these to be extremely useful! The more seasoned my pans have become, the more non stick and these make light work of what gets stuck. I keep one in the house, and one in the camp kitchen.
