the tool itself is great, was able to swap a set of springs and seals in an hour and change. However even with using plenty of lube the nut stripped the threads off the all thread halfway though the job. Luckily I was able to use a a different washer and a stock rocker bolt and finish the job.

Works like it should if you keep it greased. I greased it before each spring. Also I was just using it to remove stock springs. Not sure how well it would stand up to double springs

The stud snapped off flush with my cylinder head. A stronger stud is needed. I am a GM technician this kind of performance from a specialized tool is unsatisfactory.

Great tool for the valve spring compression on any L83. All you need to do is center the valve stem so that the valve locks sit perfect. No need for any expensive tools.

Used it a handful of times so far on 6.0's. It has held up well and gives you plenty of room to get the keepers in/out.

I used this to swap over stock beehive springs for a set of BTR 660 dual springs, on a LS3. I had no issues using a little arp ultra torque on the threads and under the washer. This tool worked great.

Did a really good job with valve spring replacement. I used it on my stock LQ4 with 317 heads. Had zero issues of it stripping out as some people complained about. Just make sure you thread it in your head at least and inch. I also used hand tools, I didnt use impact. Make sure you lube the threads good and youll be set. Probably would have been faster to use one that does 2 springs at once but. I chose this and it worked great.

Changing springs on an LT Gen 3 engine that on a engine stand. I have the 2 valve, T bar style as well as the screw down type. By far, this is the most efficient. I thought the T bar type would be a better fit but you, at least the way I done it, you only do 1 valve at a time anyways. And the best part is, it is the cheapest and American made! Now if you have the head offf, then use a C clamp spring compressor. But on the engine, this is the best option.

Put some oil on those threads

Got the job done. Make sure to use assembly lube each spring and NO power tool! Make sure your spring is centered to get the pins in, because the spring will not move to adjust. I used this tool to take the spring off and harbor freight tool to put the spring back in.

I used this to swap springs on my gt40p heads. I had to elongate the slot a bit with a die grinder to make it not destroy the draw bolt.It did get the job done. Worked well enough that I put it back in the toolbox instead of throwing it out once done.Obviously I supplied my own hardware as sbf is 5/16”. I just used a gr8 bolt and hardened thick washer. I put on 140lb seat/340lb open springs.

Works well. Use anti seaze. The bolt will get stripped so expect to ruin it after a set of heads.

It made spring change easy. Only complaint was the nut stripped on the last two. The bolt is sturdy the plate thick. 20 cent fix finished the job. For the price cant complain.
